Licensing Officer needed in Warrington paying £12.47 per hr PAYE Ref:0005 2E4E / 1

This role is working full time hours on a temporary basis

Responsibilities:

Ideally candidates will be either a suitably experienced licensing practitioner with a good knowledge of the administration of Taxi Licensing, Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005 and General Licensing or an experienced administrator within a front facing busy environment dealing with multiple, complex and varying statutory processes.

Ideally candidates will, as the first point of contact, have a professional and pleasant telephone manner and can manage our very busy phone lines efficiently ensuring that calls are managed effectively by dealing with as many queries as possible and transferring more specific queries  to one of our licensing officers. The post holder will also be given adhoc licensing tasks so should ideally be IT literate and proficient in Word/Excel and comfortable navigating their way around various software and will need to be fully conversant with our Taxi Licensing policy. They ideally be highly focused with excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi task with a high degree of accuracy when under pressure and get through a high volume of work.
