Senior Od Partner needed in Stroud paying £43,857.00 pa PAYE Ref:5190709

This role is working full time hours on a permanent basis

Responsibilities:

  • Actively contributes to SDC vision, by providing innovative ideas and input to the strategic direction, modernisation and ongoing improvement of the HR service, ensuring that all decisions and activities align with corporate and service priorities, plans and objectives.
  • Acts as a key member of the Leadership Management team, supporting service improvement initiatives through innovative and high quality people management interventions.
  • Support the Head of HR to develop the People Strategy in line with the Corporate Delivery Plan. Ensure operational activities support the People Strategy and plans and focus on the provision of effective and consistent service delivery cross the client
  • Lead on OD and L&D initiatives to create both a learning and high performing culture.
  • Work with HR colleagues and business managers on initiatives and activities that effect positive cultural change, in line with corporate values and behaviours and the modernisation agenda
  • Promote and develop the HR service by liaising with customers, evaluating feedback and encouraging partnership working

Ideally candidates will have:

  • A post graduate qualification in HRM or other disciplines relevant to the post (CIPD level7) or equivalent
  • Professional membership of CIPD (MCIPD) or equivalent
  • Sound experience in all aspects of an OD role, including talent management, leadership and talent development, performance management and resourcing
  • Experience of managing staff
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage own time and prioritise own workload
  • Experience of following correct procurement and financial procedures.
