Job Title: Childcare Assessor

Location: Home/Field based - Candidates must be flexible with travel across Bristol / Bath / Gloucester

Salary: £24,500 - £26,000 + Bonus OTE of £30,500 - £32,000 + Excellent Benefits Package 

Type: Full time, Permanent

Duties include:

• Assess and deliver full Apprenticeships in Childcare (New Standards) up to level 3.
• Deliver / support learners with Functional Skills (Maths / English) to level 2.
• Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeships.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Assessors will be required to actively recruit and sign-up learners to grow and maintain own caseload through marketing and sales activities.

Essential Criteria:

• Recognised Assessor Award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
• Must have experience of delivering full qualifications in Childcare up to level 3 (New Standards).
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Childcare, at Room Leader level or above.
• Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel. 

Personal Skills: 

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
