Theo James Recruitment are delighted to be working with this progressive construction company looking to expand their team.

Salary & Shifts of a Brazer / Welder

Up to £24,000 depending on experience.

This role will be on a permanent day shift pattern – hours of work are 7:30am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Roles & Responsibilities of a Brazer / Welder

• Reporting into the Sales Manager
• Brazing by hand and using the range of automatic Brazing machines, grinding machines and tensioning machines.
• Re-tip, tension and modifications on all blade types.
• Booking in and out of all products within the range.
• Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are followed correctly
• Occasional visits to customers premises to assist with re-tips and repairs where necessary.
• Booking in and booking out products from stores when required
• General engineering tasks such as bore modifications, drilling and countersinking of peg holes etc.

Skills & experience of a Brazer / Welder

• Must have previous brazing / welding experience
• Must have the ability to deal with customers confidently
• Experience and a basic working knowledge of re-tipping and re-tensioning Circular and Gang Saw Blades, Grinding and Polishing wheels / Rings etc. would be an advantage although training will be provided.
• A good understanding of Health and Safety guidelines within a workshop environment.
