Job Description:

Covid Response Officer needed in Hertford paying £15.78 per hr PAYE Ref: 472017

This role is working full time hours on a temporary basis


To review all information sources for any positive coronavirus cases and to make contact, through phone calls and district visits within specified timeframes. To be able to use initiative and use other communication methods,

Escalate and follow up issues as identified through positive case tracing to investigate possible links and emerging outbreaks.

Undertake enhanced/backwards contact tracing where required to support the epidemiological understanding

Support self-isolation through monitoring, advice and working with the local police where enforcement is required.

To carry out administrative duties relevant to the post including: keeping notes, investigating complaints, undertaking surveys, maintenance of data and systems and keeping records of work carried out in an appropriate format, including on a computer, to conduct correspondence in a timely manner, ensuring that all relevant officers are kept up to date

To undertake surveillance work as and when required.
