You will have worked in a similar role, diagnosing and resolving various IT issues, from simple fixes to more complicated ones where you have to work with colleagues and 3rd party suppliers to fix.  You’ll be comfortable with working to SLAs, following processes and documenting your work and you’ll have experience of both remote and desk-side support, including delivering upgrades and installations where necessary.

Technically, you’ll be adept with Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 10 and MS Server 2012R2 / 2016.

You’ll know your way around a network (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) and will ideally have an ITIL foundation qualifications.

A full UK driving license is also essential as the role will require occasional travel to different sites. There will be some overtime involved on evenings and occasionally on Saturdays, so some flexibility is required.
