Job Description:

This IT Infrastructure Project Co-ordinator job role is a permanent full time position. Joining a dedicated project team (growing as a result of demand), you will be tasked with supporting the planning and delivery of IT Infrastructure projects for stores across the South West area and parts of Wales.

Working with various stakeholders within the business, both internal and external with varying IT knowledge, you will be at the forefront of ensuring stores possess the right IT infrastructure in an efficient and timely manner.

From a project planning perspective you will be involved from initiation supporting on the IT requirements needed, how they will be installed/deployed and ultimately their successful set-up. Ensuring status, documentation and updates throughout are communicated effectively.

You will also provide support from a technical IT infrastructure standpoint during the planning phase, as well as managing 3rd parties to supervise in their delivery and subsequently any required aftercare support, to ensure smooth and timely completion.

You will need to possess an IT Infrastructure understanding that includes Windows, LAN Networking and Data Centre Management. An exposure to Service Management processes would be hugely beneficial as well, with much of the hands on work will be undertaken by suppliers.
