Although you will be based out of Southampton, the role will require south coast travel as far as Plymouth, in line with project demands.

My client is looking for someone with a sound Mechanical background (experience with valves, pumps, pen stocks, etc). You will be time served with an apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 equivalent, and have now furthered your career and knowledge, enabling you to work in a Mechanical foreman/assistant manager capacity.

You will be involved in the supervising and running of commercial projects as well as quoting for new works.

Ship repair experience would be desirable, though not essential.
