Job Description:
Role Purpose:
- Operational delivery of the planned works & maintenance programmes. The role will deliver one off Projects.
As a Site Agent you will: Contract:
- Proactively collaborate with the other contract teams to:
- - (in) early contractor involvement scheme reviews to ensure effective, efficient and safe delivery of all works;
- - Develop and Produce operational site documentation;
- - Develop and produce dynamic and efficient programmes of works;
- Follow contract gated life cycle process:
- - Actively contribute to the Gate 2 + 3 stage;
- - Facilitate gate 3b in scheme;
- Management of site activities;
- Works are completed as specified in the design documentation; our customers standard;
- Details and the specification of highway works;
- Management, recruitment and development of staff. Motivate staff and evaluate performance using the personal development review process. Administer the disciplinary procedure in a fair and uniform way.
The role will be responsible for ensuring the schemes completed as part of the planned works programme.
Comply with the following:
- BMS - Group Policy and Procedure;
- Gate 3b;
- QM - BIM field 360;
- UKCS Customer focus first strategy;
- Telematics - Plant and vehicles;
- Management of programme slippage using ASTA;
- Compliance of NHSS - 12d,16 and 30;
- Considerate constructors Scheme;
- NRSWA;
- Street Manager (road space booking).
- Deliver the schemes to the minimum commercial expectations set out in the scheme commercial documentation;
- Management of Risk and opportunities;
- Management of change control through NEC 3 standards.
Personal Qualities and Experience: Minimum qualifications and skills:
- Full driving licence;
- SMSTS;
- NVQ L6;
- NRSWA Supervisor;
- CSCS Manages card;
- Project Management;
- Computer literate including Excel, Mobile devices;
- Great communication and presentation skills;
- Willingness to learn and develop an individual;
- Experience in a similar field or role;
- Able to create and manage own personal and professional development programme;
- Programming.
- Working towards or hold relevant professional accreditation;
- PMQ;
- ASTA programme management.
- Highway Maintenance;
- Highway / Civil Construction;
- Construction, Design and Maintenance experience (CDM);
- Civil Engineering Contracting.
