Salary £30k (negotiable based on experience)


My client is one of the largest privately owned property companies in the country. Working from their Alderley Edge head office, they are currently looking to make an addition to their Legal team in the form of a Legal Secretary.

The Role
- Word processing / typing documentation from audio and digital dictation
- Amending and formatting documents in a timely and accurate manner
- Day to day typing of letters, emails, file notes, etc
- Recording messages accurately and ensuring they are passed on to the appropriate person(s)
- Creating and amending legal documents
- Receiving and sorting incoming mail
- Scheduling files for archive
- Land Registry applications

The Person
- Previous legal estate secretarial experience (essential)
- Previous experience as a paralegal (desirable)
- Good secretarial skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Accurate and fast typing skills (65+ wpm)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise with excellent organisation skills and general administration
- Professional telephone manner and the ability to take messages effectively
- Is well presented and personable, with a highly professional demeanour

Salary and Benefits
