The Role

The successful candidate will develop, improve, and implement the technical safety and quality systems for branded/retailer own brand products by:

• Develop and manage QMS training and resources
• Lead and manage internal audits
• Lead and manage third party audits
• Manage third party service providers
• Assess and maintain staff technical training requirements in addition to managing the training programme

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be:

• Experienced in food manufacturing, ideally within fresh produce, added value or high care products
• Experienced in quality assurance, control, food safety and microbiological standards
• Managerial experience
• Educated to a high level (degree preferred) in a science related discipline
• HACCP trained
• Audit qualification and experience
• Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
