Senior Lawyer based in Huddersfield and the hourly rate is £45.00 per hr
This is a part time (30hrs) temporary contract role.

This role will involve:
Undertake and assist with the Accelerated Land and Property Disposals Programme and other related service providers’ Land and Development and Highways projects, including when required, those involving substantial financial implications for the client and others, by amongst other things:
- Undertaking risk analysis and notifying the Client/ Team Leader (Environment) of risks identified
- Drafting and negotiating legal agreements
- Advising on governance issues and powers of disposal
- Preparing and drafting full title reports
- Disposing of land by auction
- Undertaking and drafting Conditional Contracts Development Agreements and Agreement for Leases, for more complex projects and Regeneration Schemes as required.
Advise prior to receipt of, and act upon instructions from, departments and other related service providers, in respect of land and development transactions, highways work, service agreements, regeneration schemes and liaise with appropriate agencies to advise on the most appropriate method of achieving objectives.
Provide oral and written advice to departments and other service providers, in relation to procedural issues, policy matters, individual cases and statutory duties/powers arising out of land and development matters
Candidates will ideally be a qualified solicitor; have relevant experience for the role as outlined above and have knowledge and experience of Case Management Systems
