About the Team

 

The Impacting and Change teams work covers a broad portfolio of work across the tax treatment of Pensions, Charities, Savings and Share Schemes. The team play a key role in the successful design and implementation of new policy and manage a range of business-as-usual systems and processes.

 

The team provide an impacting service to the policy teams they support considering new ideas for change and identifying the effects on HMRCs systems, processes, customers and stakeholders and the most effective means of delivery. The team play a significant role in change delivery providing subject matter expertise from inception of new projects through to final delivery.

You will support Implementing and Change Team Lead and Project Managers with their work on designing and implementing the products and processes necessary to support new legislation. This will include supporting activities in the following areas:

 

• Risks Issues and Dependencies

• Reporting

• Planning

• Stakeholder Engagement

• Communications

• Guidance and tools to help the customer get things right

• Quality

• Change Control

• General support and administration

 

This role also requires working with other teams in Pension, Charities, Savings and Shares and wider across HMRC to ensure that the operational processes are implemented effectively and align with the existing business.

 

The role can be varied depending on current business priorities. This means there is a need to be adaptable and a willingness to get involved in other subject areas both within the team and across the wider Individuals Policy Directorate.

 

 

Essential Criteria

 

• Knowledge of processes and legislation in one or more of Pensions, Savings, Charities, Shares or recent experience of implementing/delivering change.
