Quality Assurance Inspector (Documentation) – Swadlincote/Burton on Trent  

£20-25 p/h (Umbrella)

6 months’ minimum contract (Realistic chance of extension)

Immediate start

Welding/Pipework/Vessels

This business is a specialist manufacturer working in the food, beverage, chemical and health and beauty markets. They work with an array of high calibre clients. As well as working with globally recognised companies this client has been steadily increasing in turnover and profit every year. They are now looking to hire a Quality Engineer for an immediate start.

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for the following:

  • You will be collating all the technical documentation required for customers and collating it into a data dossier to show traceability of all parts

Documents that go into the dossier/technical construction files include:

  • Technical specifications
  • Declaration of conformity of materials
  • Technical drawings
  • Weld qualifications
  • Records of calibrations

You must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:

  • Experience working as a Quality technician and gathering and formulating large data packs and documentation.
  • Can communicate well with managers and workers on the shop floor
  • Hard working, punctual and reliable
  • MS Excel and Office
