Ideally the successful Lettings Negotiator will already be experienced within a similar position and will be hardworking, enthusiastic and trustworthy. You must be well-presented, know how to talk to clients and be willing to learn and use your own initiative. A good understanding of Stroud and the surrounding villages is a must – you’ve got to know your patch to be able to know what your applicants are looking for. 

The Lettings Negotiator will have had previous experience working within an office environment, ideally within a similar property related role. You must have experience in using Microsoft office packages and know your way generally around a computer.

This is a varied position and it will include all aspects of Lettings including: building relationships and liaising with potential Landlords and tenants, generating new business and providing excellent client care. The aim is to create a referral business where clients will keep coming back to you time and time again.

• You will be a strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills
• You will have solid IT skills and be technology savvy
• Negotiation skills are key and you will be well-spoken and well-presented
