Job Description:

Project Officer needed in Oxford £12.95 per hr PAYE - Reference:5191469

This role will involve:

  • Support the Oxfordshire Plan Team to deliver wide-ranging projects and critical functions to deliver the Oxfordshire Plan 2050 within agreed timescales and to quality standards.
  • Together with the Plan Team, work with the Project Sponsor and Programme Lead to define the workstream projects, scope requirements, identify the critical success factors and map the key deliverables onto the Programme Plan.
  • Support the Programme Lead to ensure the programme is managed and delivered using the project management guidelines; develop and maintain project plans and documentation to required quality standard, manage the implications of risks, issues and change requests on the project scope – escalating through the appropriate governance channel. Manage the change control process, ensuring key decisions and meeting minutes are documented and communicated.
  • Produce papers and reports for presentation to internal and external project and programme meetings. For example, organising meetings, reporting actions and ensuring actions are followed up.
  • Be a driving force to move the projects through their lifecycle within the agreed timescales. Provide timely programme plan updates to sponsor and stakeholders

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
