Linux Technical Support - get into DevOps

Are you a Computer Science graduate and Linux fan? Are you looking to accelerate your career in technical support and DevOps? If yes, and you're seeking a hybrid role with 2 days a week at home, then this could be the perfect move for you.

Requirements for the Graduate Support Engineer

In addition to gaining a technical degree, you'll have gained customer service skills in any industry and at least 12 months in tech support, working with professional ticketing systems. 

To get this job you'll need:
  • The ability to install and configure Linux Servers
  • A good understanding of networking principles and firewalls
  • A knowledge of shell scripting and unix command line
  • Demonstrable knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins, Ansible
  • Understand the principle of containerization
  • Good working knowledge of scripting languages such as PHP, Bash, or Perl
  • An enthusiasm for investigating new technologies
  • An ability to express concepts clearly and concisely by email and verbally
  • Experience in working successfully in a team environment
