technical guidance and supervision to users in the use and support
of IKM (SIKM) software ensuring that the appropriate governance is applied.
Applying a depth of domain knowledge in Maritime Engineering to provide an
understanding of Maritime Engineering processes and outputs and logistical
engineering support, including a knowledge of T45 & QEC support domains and
various engineering/logistics configuration systems.
Experience of LSA support to Defence Projects in a support environment at all
stages of the Project Life Cycle.
Knowledge of Systems Engineeing principles is desirable
Have a practical knowledge and understanding of Product Safety.
Familiarity with the design and development of Naval ships and ship systems and
Good knowledge of UK MoD organisation and working practices , including
Defence Ships Support organisation and other areas, such as, StratCom
Good knowledge of statutory requirements, regulations and company procedures,
including SHE and ITAR.
Good understanding of Engineering data and change control in the Maritime digital
Capable of thinking analytically and strategically to resolve complex issues.
Taking a consultative approach across Support and wider programmes to develop
and implement innovative and creative solutions.
Logical, rational and able to identify issues and solutions when given a set of
potentially conflicting data and stakeholder requirements.
