Expired

Job Description:

Head of Product: Retail: £80k-£85k

A renowned retail company in London is currently looking for their first Head of Product to join as part of their Senior Leadership Team and drive the enhancement of the customer web and app experience.
The role has previously been the responsible of the Head of IT but will now be the first hire into a newly created product team. As a result, you will be responsible for both the creation and delivery of the product roadmap and strategy, collaborating with the SLT as well as taking the Product Owner role in the Scrum team.
This would be an ideal position for someone currently in a Senior Product Manager role who is looking to take the next progressive step in their career.

Previous experience within retail would be a great starter for this role, and to stand out from the crowd further, experience with subscriptions models would be extremely valuable.

The long-term plans include building out the product team, though for the immediate future the focus is very much on this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver the Product vision/strategy, with the value provided to the customer at the centre of all you do
  • Be the Product evangelist, collaborating with the SLT, leading the Scrum team, and working closely with the wider Tech team
  • Develop the product in line with the business strategy
  • Ensure the Marketing, Tech, and Operations teams are working closely to deliver a first-class customer experience across web and app
  • Continuously review the backlog, and run timely and efficient sprints
  • Get the product to a point where you can hire a team in 12-15 months
  • Work collaboratively with the Director to establish a creative environment and innovation
  • Take the lead on establishing a Test & Learn approach

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working in a 360 product role, responsible for the strategy and delivery of the product
  • Experienced with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong understanding of UX (competitor analysis, customer research, testing etc)
  • Retail experience would be ideal, but isn’t essential
  • B2C experience is essential

If you have the experienced required for the role and are looking for a role that will both challenge and reward you, then don’t hesitate to apply!
