Our client is a well known leading name in the print sector. You name it, they print it. Brochures, magazines, POS, personalised gifts, print on giraffes, labels, large format, small format, medium format and extra medium format. They do everything. Due to some new client wins and some old clients increasing spend they are looking to recruit a skilled print finishers.

(Mon – Fri), 8am – 4pm and overtime paid at time and a half

Responsibilities

Using various Finishing machines: Guillotine, Folding, Creasing and perforating etc. in order to complete jobs (depending on machine experience)

Running “test sheets” to ensure final product is in line with customer requirements

Reporting ordering or printing issues to shift managers

Ensuring both quality and speed of work is maintained throughout

Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner in order to meet the despatch deadline

Maintaining machines to a high standard ensuring minimum downtime

Assisting with machine fixes and new parts as an when required

Keeping machines and operating areas clean and tidy throughout the day

Any other duties deemed within your skillset

Experience/Skills Required

Experience using one or more of the following machines: Guillotine, Muller, MBO Folder, Stitcher, cylinder

Experience in the print is essential

Strong work ethic

Flexible attitude

Ability to work well as part of a team

Self-motivated

Excellent eye for detail
