My client is one of the largest privately owned property companies in the country. Working from their Alderley Edge head office, they are currently looking to make an addition to their Marketing team in the form of a Campaign and Events Coordinator. This is a new role, and the primary responsibilities will be to assist the Marketing Manager with the marketing, communication, and promotion of available commercial properties within the portfolio.

 

The Role

Marketing Campaign Management:

Working with the Marketing Manager to advise, develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns in line with company values and objectives with the aim of gaining new customers and retaining existing ones.

  • Working with the Marketing Manager and agencies, plan and project manage creative digital marketing campaigns for individual properties including web, content, strategy, email marketing and social media management
  • Track marketing performance and prepare monthly KPI reports. Recommend any necessary improvements
  • Work with agencies to drive the effectiveness of paid search activities, including PPC and paid social
  • Work alongside commercial team to continually benchmark campaigns and seek out new ways to differentiate and improve the activities we undertake
  • Oversee design and delivery of artwork to be utilised across various digital marketing channels whilst working with Marketing Manager and marketing agency
  • Seek new opportunities and identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the company is at the forefront of industry developments
  • Work with the Marketing Manager and agency to develop and implement SEO strategies for the company’s main websites
  • Website maintenance including the day-to-day updates
  • Use Google Analytics and other relevant sites to produce weekly and monthly reports for social media and main websites
  • Research competition
  • Collate PR coverage
  • Select and manage third party partners and suppliers
  • Collect customer emails under GDPR guidelines and add to our CRM database
  • Other ad hoc duties may be required

Events

  • Plan and execute an annual events programme across the North West portfolio which includes customer engagement events as well as launch events and events with third parties
  • Identify and implement events to encourage customer engagement
  • Manage and oversee events within the portfolio including arranging furniture hire, booking catering, designing, and sending out marketing material, creating name badges, setting up events etc.
  • Arrange monthly social events for the leasing team with key individuals
  • Attend networking events – this will include starting early or finishing late as required

Oversee marketing initiative in Stockport:

  • Oversee website/social media/e-mailers. Conduct monthly analytics report
  • Includes signing up and building relationships with key retailers and businesses regarding keeping the customer reward card current and up to date
  • Increase social media engagement with card holders and retailers

 

The Person

  • Highly professional and well presented
  • 4+ years’ experience in implementing and managing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices
  • Experience of working with external creative and digital agencies
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • An understanding of SEO is preferred
  • Experience in communicating with B2B audiences
  • Event management experience from initial concept to delivery
  • Strong communication skills
  • Creative skills and the ability to create engaging content
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to keep to strict deadlines
  • Experience in graphic design/ video creation (not required but a bonus)
  • Property marketing experience is desirable but not essential
  • Must be willing to work at other sites in the North West when required, and have a full, clean driving licence
