Novum Personnel are recruiting on behalf of one of the leading vegetation management and fencing contractors in the UK. 

The Logistics/Yard person role is a permanent position based at the firms Boroughbridge Depot. 

Duties will include:-

• Receipting of goods and checking against purchase orders in relation to stock, parts, consumables, tools, equipment and subcontractors.
• Liaise with Contracts Managers and Operations Team to maintain sufficient stock levels to maintain supplies to operational crews.
• Assisting with sourcing stock, equipment and consumables internally and from suppliers - organising deliveries / staff for unloading.     
• Receiving deliveries and maintaining depot.
• Liaising with operatives and other staff members on enquiries concerning operations, equipment and purchasing matters.

Requirements 

• HGV Class 2
• Driver CPC
• Knowledge and understanding of effective logistics and stock control
• Willingness to undertake training
• Must possess good interpersonal skills, be a team player and have good communication and computer skills
• Flexibility to travel as required, work some evenings and occasional weekends
