Novum Personnel are recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager on behalf of a leading Vegetation Management and Fencing contractor.

Duties:-

• You will manage and oversee a range of existing soft estate maintenance, landscaping, vegetation management and environmental services, and assist in the management of a broader spectrum of highway services.
• Assisting the senior management team in expanding the business portfolio and contracts base in Southern England will form a key part of the role.
• You will be responsible for operational management of high value commercial projects and frameworks, including responsibility for accurate financial management / reporting, full compliance with ISO and National Highway Sector Scheme standards.

Experience and requirements:-

• Extensive experience in the grounds maintenance, vegetation management or arboriculture sector

• Drive and ambition to develop a new regional hub for the business and diversify the service delivery to support the broader business stream.

• Experience of managing direct labour squads and subcontract teams

• Experience of Highways preferred

• Strong people management skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.

• Good interpersonal skills, be a team player and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

• Must be IT literate with advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

• Enthusiasm and results focused with an ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.

• Must have full clean driving license

• CSCS card holder

• Minimum SSSTS. SMSTS preferred.

• Experience with appropriate Sector Scheme qualifications desirable

• On occasions you will be expected to work away from home and at weekends.
