Attached is a job profile for the Production Operator position; essential to have electronics soldering skills experience working in a busy manufacturing environment. Hours are 37.5 hours per week (8.00am – 4.00pm Monday – Friday) and salary is circa of £18-20k depending on skills and experience.

 

  • To assemble & test units through to Finished Goods across all product lines.
  • To manufacture all products following manufacturing procedures,
  • To ensure all products meet the defined quality standards
  • To assist in the reduction of manufacturing costs and lead times
  • To facilitate the feedback of all faults found to relevant parties in a timely manner
  • Customer focused
  • Good communication skills
  • Awareness & understanding of SSSE and future vision
  • Soldering Skills essential
  • PC Literate ideally previous knowledge of SAP
  • Awareness of Lean techniques

 

All candidates should be made aware prior to interview that if successful, they will be subject to security vetting checks in line with industry standards (BS7858:2012). This includes a credit history check (to check for any financial sanctions i.e., active CCJ’s or other penalty), 5-year employment history check, terrorism check, Disclosure Scotland check and two-character references.
