Hello Education are currently supporting a superb local SEN school based in Darlington to recruit a 1:1 teaching assistant with challenging behavior experience.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with SEMH experience to work with a KS2 pupil with Autism. This is full time role starting on 13th December, potentially running until July 2022. 

To be considered you will:

• Have a passion for supporting students from an academic, social and emotional perspective
• Have experience working with children with special educational needs
• Have an excellent understanding of varying special educational needs and the associated challenges
• A Team-Teach qualification/manual handling or MAPA qualification is highly desirable but not essential
• Have a nurturing, caring, empathetic and composed personality

You must have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one and be available immediately.
