Early Years Teaching Assistant needed for a Primary School in Gateshead

A full time Teaching Assistant position is now available at a welcoming Primary School in Gateshead. The role is to support a child 1:1 within Reception. The child has special needs and has very challenging behaviour so the successful Teaching Assistant MUST have previous experience working with SEND.

The position is full time and is to commence in January 2022.

You must have an Early Years qualification or a level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification and be able to work using your own initiative. You must have a sound knowledge of the EYFS / Early Years Foundation Stage, Child Protection/Safeguarding procedure and enjoy working with children.
