Service Manager - OEM

£50-55k + car + bonus (65 - 70k OTE)

Main Purpose of the Role
This organisation, an engineering business at the forefront of technical innovation, is seeking to appoint a strategically minded senior manager from a manufacturing / aftermarket background to take up a varied and exciting position in the business. This role is an exciting opportunity to take a successful and profitable department and develop it; taking charge of recruitment, design of processes and sales strategy.

The Person
You should be flexible and dynamic in your approach, and bring energy and drive to your work. Key requirements are;

• Previous experience managing a team of 5 – 10 engineers
• Commercially aware
• Background working with complex machinery in FMCG environments

Key Responsibilities
Lead a team to deliver the highest levels of after sales service to the customer base using technical and commercial awareness

• Oversee daily operation of field service activity
• Develop processes and tools for optimum team performance and efficiency
• Lead team focus on proactive scheduling for optimum short and long-term resource allocation associated with present and future customer needs
• Drive relentless focus and organisational execution against key performance indicators: service revenue, margin, gross earnings, utilization.
• Own accurate service revenue forecasting and communicate effectively with Finance team

Salary and Benefits
£50-55k + car + bonus (65 - 70k OTE)
