My client are experts in turnkey installations with 30 years of full systems solutions from design to delivery. They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Plymouth.

Duties:

Mechanical services installations in commercial and industrial environments

Installation of Mapress copper, Mapress steel, Mapress stainless steel, screwed steel, PVC, ABS, Victaulic, MDPE and PVDF pipework systems

Installation of compressed air plant and systems

Installation of chilled water plant and systems

Installation of LTHW plant and systems

Installation of MTHW plant and systems

Installation of HVAC plant and systems

Installation of steam plant and system

Installation of MCW and Tank fed systems

Commissioning of services and associated plant as above

Troubleshoot equipment on site

Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning on site

Ability to read schematics and other drawings

Requirements:

An experienced time served Mechanical Fitter with a background and experience within the Industrial and Commercial sectors is essential

Ability to adhere to stringent Health and Safety rules and promote a safe working environment

Familiarity with completing permits to work and will be able to complete accurate and concise paperwork

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiar with client protocols and requirement of a professional team

To receive and fully understand client briefs and any project constraints

Experience in a customer facing role

NVQ Level 3 qualified

JIB gold card preferred

UK Driving licence

Promote and market the company as fully as possible to maintain a reliable, expert reputation
