We are working with a leading financial services company that invest in innovative product development and work closing with clients to design and ideate on new features/concepts, which means they are continuing to grow their teams, so have asked us to invite applications for the position of Product Owner.

They are looking for a Product Owner to represent our Products and product vision externally whilst executing the Product Strategy internally across the Foreign Exchange & Payments Product Portfolio.

As a Product Owner you will be responsible for the backlogs across several development teams implementing our products with new clients, delivering new features, as well as enhancing and supporting our products for existing clients. You will work closely with the other Product Owners and Product Designers while reporting into the Product Lead.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Detail roadmap features and deliver against desired outcomes with the wider Product
• Team
• Ideate and prototype with Product Designers and Engineering Leads
• Prioritise and manage the team backlogs
• Escalate any large feature requests to the Product Lead & Product Owners for prioritisation against the wider product strategy
• Align product development items to the wider product vision
• Define, document, and deliver features, enhancements, and bug fixes with the assigned development teams
• Support development teams in product development
• Present enhancements/feature designs to clients for feedback at account management meetings
• Refine, detail, and break down conditions of satisfaction for new client projects into
• user stories for the development teams
• Act as a product evangelist for Company Products
• Support in writing requirements for Proof of Concepts
• Gather feedback and detailed requirements from clients as part of any feature delivery
• Consider cross product opportunities with any new feature request
• Research the Foreign Exchange & Payments markets and bring innovative ideas to
• enhance our Products
• Conduct user research and testing with existing clients together with a Product Designer
• Be the voice of the customer internally

About You You’ll need to have:

• The ambition to create the best Foreign Exchange & Payments product(s) on the market
• Experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner/Product Manager
• Experience with product ownership
• Experience delivering software solutions
• Experience working with cross functional teams
• Experience writing product specifications
• Experience with Behavioural Driven Development and writing user stories and
• Given-When-Then acceptance criteria
• An eye for detail
• First-hand experience working with engineering teams to refine product specification
• Experience working with UX designers
• Understanding of user testing and research principles
• Excellent customer facing skills and stakeholder management
• Experience running/contributing towards requirements workshops
• Ability to communicate and engage audiences of different seniority levels
• Experience working in an agile environment
