Data Engineer - Azure/ETL/DWH/Data Lake/Data Factory, Remote 

We are urgently looking for an experienced Azure DataFactory Consultant, with experience of working with differing infrastructure software. 

• Working in an experienced and highly collaborative team of Data Engineers with experience ranging from mid to lead level
• Working on a state-of-the-art migration from on-prem to full-service SQL Azure Data Platform
• Fantastic flexibility to work from home

A mid-level Data Engineer is required to work on completing our clients migration to a state of the art, full-service SQL Azure Data Platform. Once the migration is completed there will several other greenfield projects/requests from across the business that will see you further designing, developing and maintaining systems including Function Apps and external API's, Databricks for transforming complex JSON and several other discovery pieces which will see you building out new Azure Data Factory pipelines.

Experience required for the Data Engineer role:

• Proven experience working in a similar position as either a Data Engineer, SQL Developer, Database Developer or Business Intelligence Developer role
• Advanced knowledge and experience of databases and writing your own SQL scripts from scratch
• Solid ETL experience, preferably having developed your own automated ETL pipelines using a known enterprise ETL tool
• Proven experience in Datamodelling (Kimball) and Data Warehouse development
• Experience working in a cloud data platform environment, be that SQL Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
