Job Description:
Our client works in the high tech innovation sector. The work they do really is breath-taking and in a high growth area.
The team has grown from 1 to 51 people and are continuing to expand. They have a brand new office which is modern, funky offering a great environment to work in.
Salary up to £25k PA
The role is based on reception so your smiley face will be the first to meet all visitors but in the main you will be a senior administrator. You will have a professional approach that ensures everyone feels comfortable on arrival and gets a good impression of the business.
The Job
Greeting visitors and suppliers as they arrive and connecting them with the appropriate person
Answer the telephone in a timely manner and direct calls appropriately
Maintain physical and e-filing systems
Make travel arrangements and support with local taxi coordination
Schedule and confirm diary commitments
Handle incoming and outgoing mail
Coordinate meeting rooms, and keeping them well stocked with stationary/IT requirements
Maintaining front door security and reporting any suspicious activity
Arrange catering where required
Assist with purchasing for the organisation
Manage and own office fruit, milk, snacks and lunch requirements
Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance
Ensuring that reception and office areas are kept to a professional level of cleanliness
Maintaining office supplies such as printer ink, paper, stationery
Your experience and abilities:
Working in a pressurised environment
Excellent planning and organising skills
Proven ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and use initiative as appropriate
Ability to diary manage, organise meetings, events and book accommodation/travel
Reliable and enthusiastic with proven ability to work in a team environment, to establish effective working relationships and to communicate with a wide range of people and at all levels
Ability to learn and manipulate new IT systems quickly
Intermediate/advanced computer literacy with excellent practical knowledge and skills in using a range of Microsoft software applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
Excellent attention to detail
Flexible and pragmatic approach to supporting a wide operational remit
Takes ownership of work and makes informed decisions
