Salary £32,000 - £45,000 DOE company van, fuel card, pension, and bonus
  Oversees the activities of the job in hand, be it Commissioning, installation, maintenance visit, maintenance Call out or Contracting emergency call out. Be responsible for the management of everyone the person works with as well as the enforcement of the company ethos and goals, formulating plans to make sure those goals are met. Senior Commissioning Engineer – Non Supervisory Job Duties:

• Provides guidance for workers as needed and proposes training opportunities for individual team members
• Implements company policies & is aware of the training needs of all of the team the individual works with so that they can be fully supported, and any training requirements identified swiftly.
• Delegates duties among engineers & apprentice engineers
• Ensures that costs are kept to the quote as the individual projects taken on by the maintenance team & contracting team remain in budget where this can be influenced.
• Can make key decisions to ensure the project stays on target for completion
• Creates the ability for the team to form initiatives that benefit the company
• Identifies core competencies with individual team members
• Liaises with Directors to make sure all efforts are in alignment with the company ethos and policy’s
• Customer liaisons at site level to the benefit of the company
• To ensure skill levels are maintained in all aspects of contracting & maintenance division work (as applicable) to a sufficiently high level to be able to teach others
• To ensure your company van has the appropriate level of van stock held and to ensure that the van stock process is fully complied with.

Senior Commissioning Engineer – Non Supervisory Skills and Qualifications: NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent SSTS or Higher JIB / ECS card holder Span Set Pasma IPAF To be holding to or be able to qualify for the 18th edition City & Guilds To be able to wire, fix and commission To be able to manage the installation and to delegate such works to the team they are working with to the common goal of completing and commissioning the installation To be able to complete the works sheets and other relevant documentation within the time frame agreed by the company To be able to fix connect and commission Fan panels To ensure Mechanical Systems are able to be fully operated on every condition listed on the commissioning report to eliminate the possibility of failure to comply.
