THE JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager

THE PRODUCT: OEM Automotive Products Manufacturer

THE SALARY PACKAGE: c£38,000 Basic + Bonus + Car + Benefits

THE TERRITORY: Midlands

 

THE COMPANY:

A global corporation that supplies a range of OEM automotive products into the automotive aftermarket industry.

 

THE ROLE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

 

As a business development manager, you will be working across the East and West Midlands, utilising all tools at your disposal to grow and develop your area.

Your customer base will consist primarily of motor factors in which you will oversee in both an account management capacity and new business development. Responsible for a large customer base, your task is to ensure that your products are at the front of everyone’s shelf!

Working from home, you will manage your own workload, diary and journey plan and work closely with both the sales manager and other sales team members to pursue the overall objective and ensuring continued growth. Alongside this, you will hold a number of other responsibilities including training, marketing, promotions, workouts and trade shows.

EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

 

In terms of experience, we are ideally looking for someone who has existing automotive knowledge and a background in field sales, for example, you may have worked as a business development manager for a motor factor or distributor.

As a person, you must be ambitious and a go-getter, you will be responsible for your area and the growth within it so being able to work well on your own, being comfortable travelling and able to motivate yourself are key factors in making this role a success.
