Due to the continued growth and success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a growing company and the successful candidate will undertake a variety of technically interesting and challenging responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• You will be required to work on retail and commercial projects around the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to have autonomy and develop your career within a growing business.
• You will be involved in the design of electrical services, as well as supporting contractors on site and demonstrating works and solutions to clients.
• You will be required to design services such as small power, LV distribution, lighting and fire alarms predominantly for retail (supermarket) and commercial (offices) sectors.
• You will work closely with the mechanical building services engineer, pre-construction team and the project delivery team.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be suitably qualified (minimum of HND) in the design of electrical building services in retail and commercial buildings
• Be skilled in design tools such as Amtech, Dialux and AutoCAD
• Ideally have CEng or working towards Chartership
• Have a UK Driving license

 In return the client is offering £45,000 DOE plus a car allowance.
