THE COMPANY:

One of the most exciting automotive oil and lubricant brands within the UK are growing. With an ever-increasing portfolio that is making in a big impact already in the marketplace they are an organisation with their eyes set on the top spot. As such, the team is ready to expand and so an extremely exciting role for a new business development manager has arisen.

THE ROLE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

As a business development manager, you will be responsible for your own territory, ranging across the Midlands, with your primary objective to increase growth and success within it.

Mainly dealing with a customer base of motor factors and automotive parts distributors, you will have an existing client portfolio which you will account manage effectively, building even greater customer relationships, while at the same time, you will also actively seek out new business and look to build the customer base even further.

Managing your own diary and journey plan, you will work closely with the sales manager to pursue the overall sales strategy and will employ various tools in your possessions to achieve success. Alongside general sales, you will liaise closely with internal teams to ensure that any customer requests are actioned, complete end user workouts and attend trade shows.

EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

Although coming from a direct business development management or field sales background within the oil or lubricants sector would be fantastic, this organisation are also keen to develop the right person. As such, if you’ve already sold to motor factors / distributors or have worked at a motor factor or distribution level, then you are more than encouraged to also apply!
