Business Development Executive


Job Description:

Our Client are searching for a Business Development Executive to join their commercial business team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and niche business. The role is initially home-based, with the view to offer hybrid working. Flexible hours within the business day are also offered in this role.

As the Business Development Account Executive, you will be responsible for continuing the growth of the programme working alongside our Key Account Manager, to increase brand awareness with the goal of onboarding new partners and clients.

Fundamentally, the role entails supporting existing business development activities, in particular the partnership referral programme, in order to drive referrals and hence more work through the business, in order to meet ambitious turnover goals.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing potential new partners and clients through effective lead generation
  • Grow and maintain relationships with new and existing partners
  • Support client lead generation through effective research and convert through to business development as and when required
  • Broaden the visibility and brand of our partner programme
  • Use traditional and creative techniques to develop relationships and loyalty with clients
  • Identify opportunities for additional revenue with prospective partners

The role will involve researching business networks and opportunities, supporting marketing activities with lead generation activities (telephone, Clients meetings and events) and converting conversions for the key account manager.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a commercial business development role
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience working in the professional services sectors would be an advantage
  • Experience in account management
  • Attention to detail
  • Self motivated
  • Positive outlook and can do attitude
