Job Title: Business Development Administrator
Location: Callington
Salary: £25,000
We are working with a company looking to recruit a business development administrator to generate new opportunities and help the business grow. The client offer excellent company benefits as well as progression.
Responsibilities:
• Prospecting, calling, emailing and qualifying potential B2B customers
• Liaising with colleagues to ensure quotes are sent out in a timely manner
• Managing and organising work efforts to exceed budgeted sales plan as developed in conjunction with management
• Achieve sales goals encompassing possible marketing possibilities
• Meet KPI targets
• Personal sales execution and development of business relationships with key customers (new and existing)
• Researching and maintaining current information with regard to customer needs, specific solutions offered, and feedback to management
• Meeting specific GP level and sales call goals
• Completing daily summaries of sales calls
• Office based administration tasks
• Social media and digital marketing
Requirements:
• Ability to self-manage and motivate is critical
• Previous sales and freight forwarding or logistics experience would be favourable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Entrepreneurial attitude, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Strong sense of confidentiality
• Negotiation and research skills
• Fully competent with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Skilled using in-house databases and must be able to understand and filter profile statistics to present solutions
