Hello Education are looking for a committed, flexible and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across primary schools based in Darlington. The role will include teaching whole classes, running intervention groups and covering PPA depending on the school’s need. We are looking for someone to start immediately with long and short term placements available.

Applicants must have experience of working independently plan, deliver and mark lessons in accordance to the school’s systems and policies.

Successful applicants will have the following;

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Minimum 6 months experience within a UK primary school 
• Amazing communication skills with pupils aged 3-11 years old
• Be reliable and dedicated to the role
• Use own initiative when working independently as well as being able to work within a wider team
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (willing to obtain)
