Hello Education are looking for Cover Supervisors to work within the Teesside area to work within local secondary schools. We are happy to hear from those with a particular specialism, such as a degree in Humanities or those who are confident with the full secondary curriculum.

The school is well respected within the local community and has a fantastic reputation for their results, student behaviour and community engagement. The right person will cover for teachers when they are absent due to sickness and/or courses etc.

Cover supervisors do not require Qualified Teacher Status. The role involves delivering pre-set work for a variety of subjects while ensuring the continuation of education for all pupils. The Cover supervisor role is ideal for those looking to go into teaching. It provides a perfect opportunity to gain experience, giving you a great insight into working in schools.

To be considered for the Cover Supervisor position, you will:

• Have a passion for working with children

• Great classroom management skills

• Experience of working with young people in some capacity, e.g. coaching

• Ideally a degree, in a core subject area
