My client is an ever-growing SSAIB and ISO9001 accredited Fire and Security Company based in the North West who are offering a great opportunity to lead a growing team and are seeking an Operations Manager to join the business.

The company supply, install and maintain a full range of high-quality CCTV, Intruder alarms, Fire systems, Fire extinguishers and Access Control systems across a wide range of contracts ranging from private homes, small local firms to large national corporations with sites and offices around the UK.

The ideal candidate would be based in the Northwest and can easily visit the Chorley Office daily but be able to travel to client sites, customer visits and attend meetings UK wide.

Your daily duties would include but are not limited too

  • You will manage and motivate a team from Engineers to Office colleagues
  • You will ensure all work carried out is fully compliant within British Standards, health and safety regulations and following regular audits.
  • You will maintain and develop existing relationships with both clients and customers, ensuring all service delivered is to of a high quality.
  • You will recruit new members of the team
  • You will confirm all purchasing actions and running of the database
  • Managing day to day runnings of the business
  • Maintaining company assets

You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director therefore this position will require someone with Supervisor and Management experience and already have experience in the Fire and Security industry. You will have the engineering team and Engineer Manager reporting directly to you as well as office staff and the Accounts department too.

You will need to hold the following

  • ISO or SSAIB accreditation-essential
  • Experience in the Fire and Security Industry is essential
  • Supervisor or management experience is essential
  • Full UK driving license is essential

Shift pattern with this role: Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm roughly (flexibility needed). Office based

My client is offering the following benefits with this position: Base salary of £30-35K, company car + laptop, 28 days paid annual leave, regular training on new products in the industry.
