Job Description:
An ‘Outstanding’ special needs school in Hexham for children aged from 2 to 19 years old with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties including Autism is looking for a primary teacher to start immediately.
The role will involve teaching children in KS1 and KS2 who have a variety of special needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of planning lesson to suit various abilities and preferably in a special needs school.
To be part of this team you will ideally need to be:
- Previous SEND experience, particularly with PMLD and Autism
- Experience teaching KS1 and KS2
- Experience working in a SEND environment
- Caring and friendly
