Job Description:
My client is a well-established engineering company seeking a Applications Engineer to join their team based in Ipswich.
They provide refrigeration, mechanical and electrical solutions to customers in the food retail, food processing and distribution, and non-food sectors including pharmaceuticals and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Develop project specific design solutions (incl. heat load calculations, plant loads & pipework design)
Equipment & component selection
Preparation of equipment quotations (manufacturing quotes)
Liaise with internal engineers, CAD & PM’s
General report preparation
Technical support
Requirements:
Strong technical knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems
Good verbal & written communication skills
Good organisational skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (outlook, excel & word)
Experience of refrigeration industry software (Mistral, Micropipe, manufacturers product selection software)
Offer:
£25k - £35k (DOE)
