Midlands based but significant Flexible/Remote working available.
Main Purpose of the Job:
Hardware support, including design of customer application and supporting returned parts investigation for EU/Global Diesel customers.
Main Tasks of the Job:
Responsibility for the design, testing and analysis of parts of the Diesel FiE system. Responsibility includes discussion with the customer (e.g. understanding of customer evaluation, presentation of results), component testing of injector pump and rail, analysis/judgement, discussion with HW design team and reporting to customer.

Working Conditions: Based at the Powertrain Engineering office in Coventry working in an open-plan office with access to laboratory, chassis dyno and engine test bed/rig facilities.
Note: During the current COVID situation working from home will be expected and the applicant is expected to maintain drive/output/have suitable home working environment to support.
Qualifications Good Degree or equivalent (2:2 or higher in Mechanical, Automotive or Electronics Engineering).
Will have demonstrated their hardware knowledge / capability in a work environment.
Track record of delivering output.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Component design / analysis.
