A Quality Engineer is needed to report into the QA Manager but sit within the Software Engineering team. This will be someone that wants to take on difficult but fulfilling challenges, help the business look for continuous improvement and support the future of the company with ‘beyond the screen’ thinking. The Quality Engineer can make an important impact on the company.

The company is a Times top 100 employer and a top 10 fast track business. They are currently expanding into the global market and are getting ready for an expected surge in growth. Building on the fantastic team they have in place; they are looking to make 20 new hires including 3 testers – one of which, we would love to be YOU!

This specific opportunity will be focussing on their controllers and devices that are at the core of everything our client does. The focus will be researching and problem solving around what is possible to automate and what would need to be done manually.

You will have a hugely varied workload, with testing work in integration testing, hardware testing and testing in VoIP technology. You will be happy to work in a Linux environment, have a test mindset and be interested working across software and hardware. Any experience in device testing would be a bonus!
