 You’ll be managing contracts to successful completion including Financial & risk management ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance is maintained.  Identify contracting opportunities and ensuring these opportunities are evaluated and progressed   Managing contract’s staff, materials and subcontractors and supplying monthly reports on contract performance against budgets and forecasts.

You’ll be monitoring and managing the performance of staff ensuring that direct reports have access to all Company Policy & Procedure Documentation, including H&S documentation and PPE, safeguarding the Company’s interests by identifying/managing areas of risk and managing recording and accounting for contract changes.

You might be wondering what skills you’ll need.  Well, you’ll have a relevant NVQ or City and Guilds qualification and be capable in both domestic and commercial scenarios.  You’re a natural problem solver, who’s analytical skills and business acumen matches your planning and organisational abilities, ensuring you deliver results.

You’re a great collaborator, you understand that negotiation, relationship management and interpersonal communication are key in a role such as this, as is your experience in carrying out detailed surveys of installations and recording your findings.  You’ll be from a plumbing and heating engineering background with sound experience in gas and oil installations.

The salary on offer ranges depending on experience from £45-£50K plus company vehicle/allowance (free parking), 25 days paid annual leave + 8 bank holidays + other great company benefits.
