Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Leeds

Shifts: 2 days 2 nights

90 days Holiday

£39752, OTE up to £60k! + Overtime + World-class In-House Training + Generous Company Pension + Health and eye care cover + Life assurance and Death in service of up to x4 Gross Salary!

ATA Recruitment are working with a successful Mult million pound turn over business within the heavy industry. They are looking for a keen, experienced, and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work at their site in Leeds, West Yorkshire. They supply to major supermarket retailers, restaurants chains and independent businesses across the UK, who are continuously growing with their order books full to the brim. As a site Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will assist the team of engineers to help improve site reliability and minimise downtime.

Additional Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

-        Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and breakdowns

-        Maintain equipment’s such as palletisers, furnaces, conveyors, motors and much more

-        Report major faults to the onsite manager

-        Able to work unsupervised and prioritise their workload

Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

-        Experience within a heavy/process environment

-        Must be NVQ Level 3 qualified (Mechanical)

-        Electrical discipline is desirable, but not essential

-        Experience in working 24-hour process environment is desirable but not essential

-        Have a can-do attitude

-        Strong mechanical skills

-        Ex Navy or RAF
