Job Description:
My client are an industry leading print business, established over 60 years ago they are a pioneer within the marketing and communications side of the industry. Based in their Stockport office they are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their Credit Control Team.
The ideal candidate will already be familiar with working in a credit control position, ideally with some experience of using Sage 200.
This role is full time working Monday to Friday during standard office hours.
The Role
· Credit Checks and setting up new accounts on several systems
· Posting and allocating cash
· Proactive chasing and predicting expected cash receipts
· Liaising with customers and internal Account Management teams to resolve invoice queries
· Processing statements
· Maintaining accurate and up to date customer information
· Assisting with month end to deliver a timely period close
The Person
- Has worked in a similar role previously
- Is a natural team player and is comfortable working in a team driven environment to meet month end deadlines and KPI’s
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel
- Sage 200 experienced (highly desirable)
- Can multi-task and prioritise tasks based on their workload
- Can work unsupervised on tasks using their own initiative
Salary + Benefits
Salary of £23,000 plus benefits including competitive holiday allowance plus Bank Holidays, excellent private pension scheme, and more.
