Job Title - Engineering Manager 

Location - Tyne & Wear 

The Company;

 A fantastic manufacturer with a long-standing reputation in the industry. As they look to further their development and improvement projects, they need to find their next Engineering manager who will share their vision and add real value to proceedings. 

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role allows someone to have autonomy to implement real change, whilst having the support to diversify their experiences and develop their own professional goals. 

Salary - Circa £50k 

Brief Job Description;

- Manage and develop team of engineers along with managing sub-contractors

- Manage relationships, budgets and service standards with contractors. 

- Take a leading role in the training and mentoring of all direct reports. 

- Produce and present data driven reporting to key stakeholders. 

- Implement PUWER risk assessments.

- Develop and improve engineering procedures across the plant. 

-  Manage preventative maintenance schedule. 

Skills an Experience Required:

- Organisation and planning; scheduling, budgetary control etc. 

- Managing relationships with all direct reports and stakeholders. 

- Attention to detail

- Problem Solving 

- Determination and ambition 

- 5+ years in an engineering or maintenance manager role. 

- HNC/HND desirable 

- Proficient in Lean manufacturing
