.NET Software Developer


The company produce bespoke solutions for customers in a wide variety of markets, using a mostly (but not exclusively) Microsoft development ecosystem. The technology stack employed will typically include C#, HTML/JavaScript, MySQL, and Xamarin for mobile application development.

What we are looking for
A motivated C# / JavaScript software developer with the ability to understand the problem at hand and provide solutions, and with the ability to learn new technologies and frameworks. Full stack experience would be an advantage for the successful candidate.

Core competencies

• C#
• ASP . NET MVC and Razor / CSHTML
• LINQ
• HTML & CSS
• JavaScript / JQuery

Nice to have

• MySQL or other SQL experience
• Experience with browser UI frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Knowledge of client-side JavaScript frameworks such as Knockout, React, Angular etc
• Xamarin or other mobile development environments
• ASP . NET MVC Core, Razor Pages and Blazor
• Unobtrusive validation
• WPF
• Unit Testing / TDD
• Experience with Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps Server

Experience

• 3 years of core competencies (preferred)

This role is hybrid working. Fareham is commutable from Portsmouth, Southampton, Gosport, Waterlooville, Eastleigh, Winchester, Havant
