3 Months Contract - £30 - £35 LTD

Our client is responsible for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of process tanks and pipework. Our client mainly operates within many industries across the globe. The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • Design of the control system from detailed customer’s specifications and drawings.
  • Production of PLC I/O lists, PLC hardware layouts, control panel electrical schematics, cable schedules and termination schedules using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Evaluation of electrical installation and control panel quotations
  • FAT of electrical control panels before delivery to site
  • Management and supervision of the electrical installation Sub-Contractor, ensuring that quality and specifications are delivered in the agreed timescales, organising shutdowns and work permits
  • Being an active member of the Musk commissioning team during wet testing and product trials

The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:

  • Project management – cradle to grave
  • Procurement experience
  • Customer facing
  • Has worked with sub-contractors
  • Software
  • Automation
  • Install experience
  • Understands controls systems – can create new, or break into existing – knows I/O schedules
  • FAT testing / commissioning
